Board of Directors/ 董事会:

 

The International Conference on Canadian, Chinese and African Sustainable Urbanization (ICCCASU) is governed by a Board of Directors, which is primarily responsible for setting policy, monitoring the financial well-being of the organization, and making decisions pertaining to all major ICCCASU issues.  Membership on the Board of Directors is for a period of 2.5-years (extending until the end of 2021).

加拿大、中国和非洲可持续城市化国际委员会（ICCCASU）由一个董事会管理，该董事会主要负责制定政策，监管该组织的财政状况，并就ICCCASU的所有重大问题作出决定。董事会成员任期为两年半（至2021年底）。

 

Role:  Determining the structure, policies, governance and future of the organization.  Members are drawn from those who have been involved with ICCCASU from its inception and have been actively involved in its three conferences.

Advisory Committee/ 顾问委员会:

 

The Advisory Committee consists of a group of individuals from various sectors and disciplines around the world with expertise and/or an interest in urbanization and sustainable urban development. The mandate of the Advisory Committee is to provide advice to the Board of Directors and the Organizing Committee on ICCCASU's development policy, the well-being of the organization, and all major ICCCASU initiatives. The members of the Advisory Committee are also asked to promote ICCCASU and advocate on its behalf.  Membership on the Advisory Committee is for a period of 2.5-years (extending until the end of 2021).

The Scientific Committee consists of a group of experts from various sectors and disciplines related to ICCCASU objectives all over the world. Its mission is to provide valuable advice to the Board of Directors and the Organizing Committee, as well as to assist in the promotion of ICCCASU initiatives. Membership on this Committee is for a period of 1.5-years (extending until the end of 2020).

Under the leadership of the Board of Directors and in close collaboration with the Advisory Committee and the Scientific Committee, the Organizing Committee is principally responsible for managing the daily operations of the ICCCASU, including planning for conferences and the preparation of proceedings. Membership on this Committee is for a period of 1.5-years (extending until the end of 2020).
